Tulsidas Shiksah Evam Vikash samiti Sodh sansthan  is  a  voluntary Organization working for the education, health And women’s empowerment in the Underprivileged communities, especially with Children and women. Organization was initiated with a view to evolving information and making linkage between villagers and the government. We believed that knowledge would lead to awareness, which would further lead to self-development,Empowerment and action.

Tulsidas Shiksha Evam Vikash Samiti Sodh Sansthan  came into existence as a  result  of  the  motivation  and  personal initiative of its founder, Mr. C. P. Dwivedi, to enhance the socio-economic status of  the underprivileged people. Hailing from a rural family, the founder was no stranger to hardships faced by the underprivileged. Having overcome economic and social challenges, due to the backing and economic blessings from certain elder society leaders, the founder set out to do his best to make a positive difference in the lives of fellow underprivileged.

Working with a team of committed people, Tulsidasngo’s aim has been to secure integrated development through people’s participation. The key areas identified for interventions include child rights, education, health and hygiene, sustainable livelihood, and women empowerment. Our efforts have developed lasting association with government, non-government and corporate organizations as also with the communities and groups with whom we have worked.

Tulsidas Shiksha Avam Vikash Samiti Sodh Sansthan has been in existence for Eleven years now. Now We have completed 12 year our journey from a single program in Chitrakoot to be  skilled rural poor .  We started in Chitrakoot again with a small initiative. Now we have several of programs in Chitrakoot. Our vision is to realize the dreams of the poor and the underprivileged. Our focus is on those who are unable to access quality healthcare, education or basic amenities which will give them an improved quality of life. Livelihood, women empowerment and environment are some other key areas of concern. Our programs are driven by our mission – to work/ act as an agent of change to help the poorest of the poor access and actualize their rights as enshrined in the Constitution of India. In the ten years we have enhanced and expanded the range of programs. The time is ripe for us to review and realign our programs to the changed realities. We need to reflect and strengthen our successful programs and rework programs which are not effective or do not add value to the beneficiaries.

This philosophy of ours has led us to adopt a holistic and participatory approach to rural development. We believe in inclusive approach, covering all the sections of the society, particularly the underprivileged, in a village. We work with the existing village level for a (and creating new ones wherever necessary) through Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approaches, principles and techniques.
